An assignment we were given was to develop a mobile app with the AppFurnace platform, a free visual web app for making mobile apps. We needed to write up an idea and proposed design, then develop it in AppFurnace.

The first step was gathering ideas from fellow course mates and flat mates.

After brainstorming and juggling ideas around I decided to develop a walking based quiz game. Here is the brief specification of the app.

This is the home page of the mobile app: QuizWalk. I made the design resemble a zebra crossing because pedestrians can relate to it.

The app will store your name and use it to check how many metres you've walked. If somebody else puts their name, the game resets.

This is the question page. If answered correctly then the next screen is displayed. If answered incorrectly then the game resets.

This page tells the user how many metres he is required to walk in order to answer the next question.
