A brand is an identity that defines the personality of a company or person. This is achieved by using certain properties to make a unique experience or look and feel.

Colour is one of the most important things to consider when designing a web page. The first thing a user will notice will be the colour (and layout) but as in real life, if the user feels uncomfortable, chances are you won't see them back here again.

A colour chart can be used to compare colours and their expressions. I chose the colour blue as the overall colour scheme of my site as it's a very productive, calm and stable colour.

The typeface used in the header logo of my site is MGRay, and it is the official font of Metal Gear Solid. The various sub-headers around the site are also MGRay, while body is a basic sans-serif font by hotglue.

The layout design I chose was a standard block design. I have always been a fan of this layout, as well as being inspired by a handful of images from my moodboard.

Tarantino posters will always have a place in my Hoglue. The simplicity and basic layout work extremely well, so I tried to incorporate the large bold block title onto the top of my pages.

Upon visiting my site, many people have stated that it looks professional, sleek and "cool", so hopefully the blue is doing it's job.
